Aurelio’s Pizza Sauce

Ingredients

• 1 (29 OZ) can tomato puree
• 12 OZ beer
• 2 TBSP white sugar
• 1 1⁄2 TSP garlic powder
• 1 1⁄2 TSP dried basil
• 1 1⁄2 TSP dried oregano
• 1 TSP salt

Instructions

1. Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
2. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
3. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer 30 minutes.
