Butter Pecan Ice Cream

Pecans
- 4 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1 tsp salt
Ice Cream
- 2 cups half-and-half cream
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup baking cocoa optional
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
Instructions
- Melt butter in skillet, add pecans and salt over low heat until toasted, about 10 minutes.4 Tbsp unsalted butter, 1 cup chopped pecans, 1 tsp salt
- Combine half-and-half, sugar, (cocoa) and vanilla in a blender; process on low until smooth.2 cups half-and-half cream, 1 1/2 cups sugar, 1/2 cup baking cocoa, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Stir in heavy cream.2 cups heavy whipping cream
- Use Ice cream machine to mix cream, then add pecans when almost done
