Pizza Dough
Ingredients:
1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Lukewarm Water
1/2 TSP Salt
4 TBSP Olive Oil
3 TSP Powdered Yeast
Directions:
- Dissolve powdered yeast in lukewarm water and let stand for 10 to 15 minutes. In a separate mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, olive oil, and the yeast mixture.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for about 15 minutes, or until the dough mixture is smooth, elastic and not sticky. If necessary, add additional flour to the dough while kneading.
- Gather dough mixture into a ball and place in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with damp cloth, and put in a warm place. Allow the dough to rise approximately one hour, or until it has doubled in bulk.
- At this point the dough is ready for use. After the first rising the dough can be pounded down and frozen or refrigerated for future use.
