Pizza Dough

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour
1/2 Cup Lukewarm Water
1/2 TSP Salt
4 TBSP Olive Oil
3 TSP Powdered Yeast

Directions:

  1. Dissolve powdered yeast in lukewarm water and let stand for 10 to 15 minutes. In a separate mixing bowl, combine flour, salt, olive oil, and the yeast mixture.
  2. Knead dough on a floured surface for about 15 minutes, or until the dough mixture is smooth, elastic and not sticky. If necessary, add additional flour to the dough while kneading.
  3. Gather dough mixture into a ball and place in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with damp cloth, and put in a warm place. Allow the dough to rise approximately one hour, or until it has doubled in bulk.
  4. At this point the dough is ready for use. After the first rising the dough can be pounded down and frozen or refrigerated for future use.
