Fudge Brownies

Ingredients:

1/4 Cup of Butter
1 Package (6 oz) of Semisweet Chocolate Chips
3/4 Cups of Sugar
2/3 Cups of Flour
1/2 TSP of Vanilla
1/4 TSP of Baking Powder
1/4 TSP of Salt
2 Eggs
1/2 Cup of Chopped Nuts (Optional)
1/2 Cup of Semisweet Chocolate Chips (Optional, to be mixed in solid)

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350º
  2. Grease the bottom of a square pan, 8×8 inches
  3. Heat butter and 1 package of chocolate chips in saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly to avoid burning, until melted. Remove from heat. Stir in remaining ingredients except nuts and extra chocolate chips until smooth
  4. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Spread in pan with rubber scraper
  5. Bake in the center of oven, about 30 minutes. Let brownies cool completely, then cut. Store tightly covered
